The Multi-Mode media converter facilitates data transfer over duplex fiber at 1000Mbps and links to copper Ethernet at 10, 100, or 1000Mbps, automatically detecting the appropriate speed. This unit achieves a maximum distance, when utilizing 50/125 or 62.5/125 (OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4) multimode fiber. On the Ethernet side, the distance extends up to 100 meters (328 feet) using Cat-6 or superior copper cable. The fiber connections are available in SC or ST, and the copper Ethernet connection is RJ-45.
